IP Rights

This page sets out the intellectual property rights that apply to the KASMOS website and the creative work that KASMOS evaluates and develops.

Ownership of Website Content

All content published on this website — including text, design, layout, structural elements, and the KASMOS framework documentation — is the intellectual property of Kayou Group. No content may be reproduced, distributed, or adapted without prior written permission.

Creator IP Rights

KASMOS does not claim ownership of creative work submitted through KARTIST — the open entry and intake mechanism of KASMOS — or through any other submission channel. Creators retain full ownership of their original work at the point of submission. IP rights are only transferred or licensed to KASMOS through a separate, explicit commercial agreement — not through submission or participation in the evaluation process.

Evaluation Does Not Transfer Rights

The evaluation of creative work by KASMOS does not constitute a claim on that work, and does not transfer any intellectual property rights to KASMOS or Kayou Group. Creators whose work is evaluated by KASMOS retain full ownership of that work unless and until a separate commercial agreement is reached.

Development Agreements

When KASMOS decides to develop a body of work, the terms of that development — including IP rights, licensing arrangements, and commercial structures — are set out in a separate, written agreement between KASMOS and the creator. No development activity begins before such an agreement is in place.
